The Mississippi State University Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in 20th century History of American Foreign Relations, beginning August 16, 2018. Teaching responsibilities are two courses per semester. Offerings include a turn in the US History survey and undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of expertise. Demonstrated ability to contribute to the department’s vibrant intellectual life is especially favored.
A Ph.D. in the History of American Foreign Relations at the time of appointment is required. Evidence of successful teaching and publications are preferred. Advanced assistant professors are welcome to apply.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
